Welcome to the website of the Barrington Horseshoe Club. 

The Horseshoe Club is a booster organization for all BHS athletic activities, providing fundraising, organizational and administrative services and support, and coordinating volunteer activities to maximize benefits to all BHS athletes.

Volunteers established the Barrington High School Horseshoe Club as an Illinois not-for-profit corporation on 3/17/03. The Horseshoe Club is recognized by and registered with the Illinois Attorney General as a "Charitable Organization", and is exempt from federal income taxation under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. The Horseshoe Club’s Officers and Directors are:

Rick Wokoun, President Will Knapik, Treasurer John Schmidt, Secretary Holly Madden and Jon Stickney, Vice Presidents and Directors

The Friends of the Stadium group operates as a Committee of the Barrington High School Horseshoe Club and includes Jon Stickney, Mary Kamps, Holly Madden, Scott Brown and Rick Wokoun. The Horseshoe Club charged the Committee with the task of organizing and operating a fundraising campaign to generate at least $800,000 in donations to fund upgrades to the Barrington High School Stadium Project. The Committee works in close cooperation with Barrington Community Unit School District 220.

Friends of the Stadium operates as a committee of the Barrington High School Horseshoe Club, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation and an approved Charitable Organization as defined under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
